About Us
The Warsaw Film School is an accredited private university founded in 2004 offering baccalaureate degrees in film directing, producing, cinematography game design, editing, sound and design [in Polish]. The international division was founded in 2015 and currently offers bachelor’s degrees in film Directing and in cinematography. It is the only artistic school under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture to offer a BFA in English. Based in Warsaw the school is a film production and education hub and includes a film high school, a game design high school, vocational college, art-house cinema, and a production company.

We have students from all over the world, including a large representation from non-European countries in Asia, Africa, and the Americas. This means we have an urgent need for actors who speak languages other than Polish — especially English. It is not usually required that you speak English as a native speaker. Working with international students and professors, in English, is an excellent opportunity to get some experience if you aspire to work internationally as an actor in film or television.

Every year, the Warsaw Film School produces hundreds of short films ranging from 2 minutes to 30 minutes. The school also produces feature films. Acting in one of our films is a great opportunity to hone your craft, to help young people learn the trade, and to fill out your acting reel. Many students will also pay a nominal day rate.
